A 72-year-old man captured in Iwo, Osun state for expelling a human skull from a graveyard says he committed an error, Daily Trust reports.
Idris Ajao asserted to be a bricklayer, yet said a cultivator Tajudeen Jawesola had alloted him to unearth skulls from graves in the burial ground as an end-result of N10,000.
Police, following up on a tipoff, sent around the burial ground and captured him with a skull.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye said police investigators got the clue about the outrages of Ajao and trailed him until he was gotten with the skull.
Ajao told Daily Trust, "Botch has no ace."
"It was Jawesola that requesting that I get the human skull for him. Everyone knows Jawesola to be botanist and he needed to utilize the human skull to do his work. He said he would give me N10, 000. I ought not have listened to him. It is a slip-up".
