A witness said the mishap, which occurred about a kilometer to Gwagwalada happened at around 10:12p.m. after a Peugeot 406 auto originating from Zuba hub veered from its path and slammed into an approaching trailer.
He said the Peugeot auto driver kept running into a profound pothole, lost control of his auto and slammed head-on into the unmarked trailer, slaughtering all its four tenants on the spot.
"The Peugeot auto somersaulted in the wake of hitting a pothole and crashed into a Daf trailer which was originating from Lokoja. The four inhabitants of the auto and the driver passed on the spot," he said.
