An authority of Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, who has been distinguished as Kola, was shocked to death on Saturday as he attempted to associate wires from an electric shaft to another working, at the Government Reserve Area, GRA, situated at Itanla along the Ondo/Akure expressway, Ondo State.
The cruiser of the shocked power organization official, who was purportedly responsible for the zone for the benefit of BEDC, was seen stuffed under a mango tree as authorities from the BEDC later arrived the scene to expel his body from the shaft.
Affirming the report, Manager of the Ondo Business District of BEDC, Chris Enuamaka, revealed that Kola was on an unlawful obligation at the season of the electric shock.
