Another arrangement of guidelines for Lagos State transport conductors demonstrates that they will soon be constrained to wear regalia and identifications.
Mr Israel Adeshola, the National President of Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN), says that as from March it is compulsory for transport conductors in Lagos state to wear garbs, unofficial IDs and identifications.
Adeshola, who made this known in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Thursday, said that the Lagos State government has endorsed wearing of garbs and identifications.
He said that the utilization of identifications and wearing of garbs by more than 3,000 bonafide individuals got the endorsement of the legislature on Monday.
"We are in a joint effort with Lagos state government on the issue of identifications and regalia for business conductors, which was settled on Monday.
"This is on account of we would prefer not to begin without the administration's endorsement. So by first week of March we will move them out,'' he said.
Adeshola clarified that the presentation of regalia, informal IDs and identifications had turned out to be important to uphold propriety and guarantee wellbeing of appropriately enlisted individuals and individuals from the general population.
As indicated by him, with the essential data on the identification, any conductor required in wrongdoing can without much of a stretch be recognized and caught.
The national president clarified that the clever thought was being tested in Lagos state before different states can take a prompt.
